Christmas Wall hanging

Here's a Christmas decoration that I made this year. I finally got round to making it on the 23rd December so just in time for this Christmas. I'd been so busy making cards and presents that this got left to last. I convered chipboard tree shapes that I bought from the Hobbyhouse.

I've used papers from Craftwork cards, there's a foverever friends stamped image at the bottom coloured in with Promakers, a stamped sentiment from Little Claire designs. There's some Doodlebug shaped buttons (trees and hearts), some paperclips with charms on, Pointsetta cut out using a Marianne Creatables die, snowflake sequins, ribbon, glitter and some Doodlebug Christmas stickers.
I hope you like it, thanks for looking.
I'd like to enter it into challenges at:
Charisma Cardz Challenges - Challenge 50 - Anything goes
Craft us crazy - Christmas/anything new/humorous
Cooking it up with Katie - Challenge 86 - Anything goes
I love Promarkers - Challenge 97 - Anything goes
I hope you like it, thanks for looking.

New Year Card

Wow can you believe it's nearly 2012, hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Mine was one of the best ever. We spent our first Christmas in our new home and with my parents too, the first in years as we've never had space to have them to stay. Normally we dash up to see them on Boxing day (they live 3 hrs away) for a few nights which we didn't have to do this year. I managed not to burn Christmas dinner and the boys faces on Christmas day were brillant, Owen was so excited that Santa had been that he was shaking with excitment.
Anyway onto the card that I want to share with you today. Over at  CRAFT challenge we have a new challenge for you today.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, this may be my last post before Christmas so have happy Christmas. I want to share with you my and my boys (J)DT cards for the last challenge at CRAFT challenge before Christmas. Our Christmas challenge over at CRAFT is perfect it you've any last minute cards to make it's
Pastelles for Christmas
We have two sponsors again for this challenge

Here's Liams JDT card.
He raided my Christmas box and this is what he came up with, not too sure where things are from!! I think the background paper was a recent freebie from Cardmaking and papercraft magazine and the house is a Doodlebug sticker

And now for Owens JDT card. He used a digi image from this weeks sponsor Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More called Bella da snowlady. I know the pompom is stictly pastel, but Owen was determined that he was going to use it and I thought it looked cute.

And finally here's my DT card. I used things from a Craftwork cards goody bag, except the snowflakes which I used a punch for and then added some stickles glitter. The image was coloured in using my Promarkers.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at our cards.
We wish you a Merry christmas.
Love Sharon (and Liam and Owen ) xxx

It's time for another challenge over at CRAFT challenge, this week it's to make a card with a removeable item. Such a great challenge, it really got me thinking and I came up with something a bit different to my normal cards for my DT project which I'm really pleased with. I've also got a bit of stamping on their are well which is done using SU snowflakes stamps. The sentiment and punches are also SU.

Sketch challenge over at CRAFT

Morning all, it's Thursday so it's time for another challenge over at CRAFT challenge, this week we have a sketch for you to follow.
It was designed by one of our previous DT members Kevin.

We have two sponsors again for you this week which are Glitterbabe and Floppy Latte Designs. Check out the CRAFT challenge blog to see the prizes on offer.
I've used a digi by Floppy Latte Designs for my DT card which is called funky flower.

I printed off a couple of the flower digi so I could layer them, the flowers are coloured in with Promarkers. I've used flower stamps, punches and ink pads from SU for the flowers. The papers are from a new paper stack I just got from First Editions (Trimcraft) the gems are from my stash and the sentiment is Craftwork cards.

This week my Son Liam joined in the DT team as a JDT member again. He was off school with Shingles and asked if he could craft so we spent a whole day in the craft room together and we had a brillant time. This is one he made for this challenge.
Not too sure where he got the bits from for his card, he just kept producing things from his craft box to use on it and I found a sentiment for him to finish it off.

Don't forget to check out the other DT creations which you can find here.

Thanks for stopping by,

CRAFT challenge

Happy 1st December, the count down is now really on for Christmas!!
We have another challenge for you at CRAFT challenge. This time we want to see the Christmas presents that you've made.
We are lucky to have two sponsors this week.
You can win either 4 digi images from Laurettas shop or 3 die cut packs of own choice from Crimson Cloud.

Here's my DT project:

I kept them quite simple as I want to give them to my two boys, as they are 4 and 5 I didn't want lots of things that they could pull off as I expect they'll get some hammering. Liam may still pull some of the things off to put in his craft box!!
I've used papers from DCVW Christmas wishes paper stack, some Nesties, SU punches, Papermania dew drops in red, the stamps are from Kars and coloured in with Promarkers.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the CRAFT challenge blog to see the other fab projects by the DT
