Tilda with balloon

I made another card using my valentines day pressie. This time I used the cute Tilda balloon stamp which I coloured in using Promarkers and a greeting from Craftwork cards.

I've been spending more money too........my order from the Glitter pot turned up today I ordered some Tilda stamps, Prima flowers and Craftwork card greetings. One of the stamps is an adorable Tilda with Easter egg and the others are Tilda with sunflower and with puppy. I've already stamped some images and I'm off to have a play now to see what I can create with them.

My Valentines Crafting Goodies........

My lovely hubby bought me a goody bag from docrafts for valentines day so I couldn't resist making a card using all my new stuff. The goody bag is fab this time as it has all co-ordinating items from the Papermania capsule sunshine collection, so lots of paper, ribbons, button, bow, flowers and the cute Daisy and Dandelion stamp. Everything on this card is from the goody bag except the Mum rub-on letters and the promarkers that I used to colour in the bear.

Chinese New year Card

I made this card for a girl at work to celebrate Chinese new year. I've never made a Chinese new year card before, but found some Oriental sprice papers from Papermania that I bought a few years ago and used the free digi image from Digital doodling website, that I coloured in with Promarkers. I was pleased with how it turned out in the end. I hope she likes it too.

Birthday card - Paper piecing

Over on C.R.A.F.T. challenge this weeks challenge that ends tonight was paper piecing, so I thought I'd have a go as I've never tried this technique before. Really pleased with the result so I'll be trying it again. I stamped the girl image onto a piece of white card, plain pink and stripy paper and cut out her clothes from the pink and stripy paper and stuck them over the image on the white card. Her face, arms and hair were then coloured in with promarkers.

Here's the result:

The backing paper was from a paper stack from DCWV (Blossoms and butterflies), I used pink card candy (craftwork cards) and some ric rac and a birthday greeting and flowers to finish off the card. Not too sure where the stamp was from, it was from a stand at the Nov. NEC craft show, but I've thrown away the part of the packaging with the name on...... at a guess though it might have been from Stamposaurus.
