Fat free cake..

I'd like to share with you a cupcake that I made for a crafting friend for her birthday.
This is the low calorie type...

It started out as a polysterne ball!! I made the cupcake case it sits in using paper from a first edditions paper stack.

I then decorated the top with allsorts of things. There's some ribbon to hide the top of the 'bun case' and it's then covered in lots of flowers, which I think are mainly Prima and Hobbyhouse. Some of the flowers have glitter brads in the center for a bit of bling.
I've also scattered some pearl headed hat pins which helped to hold all the flowers in place.

Finally I added a flag on the top using stamps and die cuts from Whimsy stamps.
It's the first time I've had a go at making a cupcake without flour. But I was pleased with how it turned out, more importantly my friend loved it so it was appreciated.
I'd like to enter it into challenges at:
Crafty Anns challenge blog - Anything but a card
Delightful challenge - Spring colours
Paper crafting journey - Anything goes
SJ crafts challenge - Challenge 2 - flowers (option to use pink or red)
Anything goes challenge blog - Challenge 61 - Altered (I hope this counts as my cupcake started out as a polysterene ball)
