I went to the Artstamps show at Newbury last weekend and finally i've been inspired to use the Lavina stamps that I bought 18 months ago. I've always loved the inked cards but they look so hard to do. After watching a demo at the show I decided to have a go when I got home. It's not perfect, I think the colours in the sky could be stronger but I'm pleased with it as a first attempt. I'll keep practicing.
The background is inked using distress inks, I used bit of torn paper to get the hills and masked out a circle for the moon. I stamped the tree and Lavina fairy using Versafine black ink and then added the leaves (another Lavina stamp) using distress inks . I then added the cute fairy message (Lavina again) and mounted the while thing onto some silver paper, added bling in the corners and Stickles glitter to the fairydust before mounting onto a card blank.I'd like to enter this into the
