Sketch challenge over at CRAFT

It's the start of another challenge over at CRAFT, this week we have a sktch challenge for you.

Owen and myself made DT cards using a cute car image from the Stampin Boutique   

Here's my card. 

 I've used paper from a Forever friends spring time paper pack. Flowers I think are from Beecrafty. I've punched out the leaves and added some ribbon and Candi.

Here's Owens JDT card

He's used things from his craft box but he did manage to sneak a bit of SU paper on their, he insisted he wanted it orange so I said he could use a bit. He got his unsual glitter on it too but decided he only wanted a single line of glitter. He's already given his card to his Grandma to say thank you for looking after him and his brother over the half term.

Look who I've met....

I went to the stitches trade show at the weekend with my Mum and Dad. They have a business selling patchwork fabric, which you can find here. I help out at the shows for them sometimes so they invited me along this year to the NEC trade show. 

I got to see lots of new cards making goodies but the highlight was watching a demo by....

Tim Holtz.

I felt like at little school girl again as at the end of his morning demo session I asked him for a photo, he was more then happy to pose for the camera. What a great guy, he was so down to earth and very friendly.

Rainy days..

I'm not that great at keeping up to date with my blogging (apart from DT cards), here's a card I made a few weeks again using a Little Claire stamp. It was a misreable day so I cheered myself up by making this as bright as I could.

Biker Chic

Over at Lexis Creations we have a fabulous new challenge for you...

Monochromatic

I used a fabulous digi image created by Lexi called Biker Chic Chloe. I thought she's look good in blue so I chose a blue theme for my DT card

I've used a retired paper pack from SU, the sentiment is from Craftwork cards, I made the flower using some blue and silver cord that I've spiraled around and added a Papermania glitter brad center. I've also added a butterfly (MS punch), a handbag charm and buttons from my stash.

New Challenge over at CRAFT

 For my DT card I've used a digi from Meljen designs called Pirate Johnny. Isn't he adorable.

  

Recipe: Most of the card stock is SU. I've embossed the green card and added the cute skull ribbon from Crafty ribbons. There's some Candi on there too as well as a sentiment made from SU stamps and punches. Johnny is coloured in with Promarkers.

Mothers Day LOTV card

Here's a Mothers Day that I've just made using my new LOTV stamps. The bunnies are so sweet, I've coloured them in with Promarkers. I've used some Prima flowers, lace, butterfly (MS punch), pearl gems and some brads for the flower centers.

Here's Liams (age 5) card, he used a digi image from Bugaboo (Dino heart 2) and some free papers from cardmaking and papercraft magazine. He cut out shapes using my slice machine after seeing his younger brother using it for his card, he didn't want to be left out.

And here's Owens (age 4). He used the same digi as his brother and paper from a SU paper pad. Owen is unable to made a card without glitter, so he put some gold glitter on his card (and the floor too...) Liam is giving his to his girlfriend, but Owen is giving him to his Grandma who will be looking after him during half term when valentines day is.

Finally here's my DT card. I've also used a Bugaboo image (Ruby Calender months, February)

 

I've coloured her in with Promarkers and used Stickles glitter on the wings. The papers were from Craftwork cards. I've used ribbon from Crafty ribbons, pink card and punch from SU, MS heart punch, and swirl from my Slice machine.

Another Valentines card

I have another valentines card to share.

 

 My latest creation is my DT card for the newest challenge over at Lexis creations.

 Here's my card using Be Mine Bear

 

Recipe: I've coloured in the digi image with Promarkers. I've used some flowers from Wild Orchid crafts and the Hobbyhouse, the papers I think are from a First eddition paper pad, I've used MS punches for the borders and lace heart. There's some lace, gems, heart pins and various other bits to decorate it.

 For my card I've used a digi from Digital delights who were our Janurary Star of the month sponsor and a digi 'With love' sentiment from The Crafty Pad

Recipe: Image coloured in with Promarkers, papers from Fancy pants beach babe paper pad and card stock from SU distressed with red ink. I've used a MS border punch and MS heart punch. SU punches and stamp for the forever sentiment. Flower from Craftwork cards and heart button from my stash.
