Baby's First Christmas....

This is one of my new stamps from Lili of the Valley that I couldn't wait to use, the toddler is so cute. I had no sentiment to say 1st Christmas so I made my own using rub ons and heart tags. The image is coloured in with Promarkers and most of the other things on the cards are from Doodlebug apart from the stickels blue and silver glitter and the clear snowflakes (not too sure where they are from).

I'm entering this into Die Cut Dreams Christmas club - challenge 34 - childrens Christmas

First day of school...

I am so proud of my oldest son. Today was his first day of school. He looked adorable in his uniform and was so excited about school, by 7am he was all ready with shoes on and book bag in his hand asking 'when can I go to school?' over, over and over again, bless him. So no tears when I left him (from either of us) and he was happy when I went to collect him. He's looking foward to going back tomorrow so he must have enjoyed it.
Here's a piccy of Liam all ready in his uniform, isn't he cute.

Baby Boy Card

This card started out as my entry for a challenge on the Trimcraft website to create your own stamp.

The background paper is stamped using a die cut baby bottle shape (cut from my Slice machine). The hearts around the image has been stamped using a metal heart embellishment that I put a foam pad on the back off so had something to hold when stamping.

Although the stamping wasn't as successful as I hoped the card turned out better than I expected in the end.

Image - Sugar Nellie stamp coloured in with Promarkers

Ribbon - local craft shop, thread - DMC blue thread

Cream paper - Basic Grey

Blue check paper - Craft Creations

Dummy Charm - Stash

I'm back!!

It's been a while since I've updated my blog, but I've still been busy crafting though. I've been busy making cards for the challenges on the Trimcraft website. I also started on my Christmas cards this weekend, well I've make 7 now!! But it's a start.
In our house we're also busy preparing for our oldest boy starting school in a week's time. He's had a month off nursery, so he had a break before school. It's meant for the last month we've had a 4 year old to entertain. We've done lots of things and I really enjoyed have some time off with him. Still can't believe he starts school in a week, he's so excited though!!
