Tessie Turtle

Morning all, I hope you all had a good weekend. I spread out my birthday celebrations all weekend so had a great time. I went to a crop all day on Saturday and then Sunday was spent with hubby and my boys at the beach. Crazy as it was so cold!! Good fun though, we had a bag of chips to warm us all up.

This morning I have my latest DT card for Lexis Creations to show you.
This time the challenge is....

Fancy folds

We are sponsored by The Stamping bazaar

I have to say that this one got me thinking as I fancied trying something new. Finally with a little help from Youtube this is what I came up with.

I've used a image from Lexis called Tessie Turtle which I coloured in with Promarkers
I've used some gorgeous papers that I was very lucky to win on Trimcraft. They are from a first edditions paper pack called Spring drop.
I've used some SU punches for the flowers and a MS punch for the butterflies. The birthday sentiment is  made using a SU stamp and punches and the other little sentiment is using a stamp (I can't remember where it's from) which was cut out using nesties. I've also added a few pearl gems.
I'd like to enter it into challenge at

Number challenge

Morning all, hope everyone is keeping warm.
I have another DT card to share with you today
Our new challenge today at CRAFT challenge is a number challenge.
Yet again we have lots of yummy prizes on offer from our generous sponsors, DigiDarla, Floppy Lattes designs, Bugaboo stamps and JLJ designs. You can check out the exact prizes on offer at CRAFT challenge.

My son Liam is back on the JDT this week using a digi image from DigiDarla (Garden number 3). He really enjoyed making this and chose the papers from my stash (not sure why he insisted on pink?) and he found the green tag in his craft stuff that he wanted to add. He stamped the birthday sentiment onto it and finally added the gems he picked out from my stash.

Liam would like to enter his card into a new challenge for kids called Jellypark juniors, their first challenge is anything goes.

And here's my DT card.
I just love this image from our sponsor Bugaboo, he's called Har Repotter the chosen one, you can find him here.

I made this card ready for my youngest's sons 5th birthday. He likes Harry Potter at the moment, he got some Harry potter Lego for Christmas which he loves, so I thought this image would be perfect for his card.
Recipe:Image coloured in with Promarkers, papers from Fancy Pants to the moon paper pad, stars cut out using x-cut dies, gems from Meiflower, bunting made using twine and Whimsy stamps die and stamps, finally the number '5' is a rub on.
Thanks for looking, don't forget to check out the other DT cards here

Mini...

Happy new year. I spend the last evening of 2011 making some cards, what a great way to end the year. I also spent some time with hubby as well...lol and managed to stay up to see the new year in even if it was only for 5 minutes. Anyway here's one of the cards I made. I have a red mini so just love this stamp and couldn't resist colouring it in red too. I've used papers from Papermania Portobello road range.

I followed a sketch from crafty ribbons so I would like to enter it into their sketch challenge 9 which you can find here and also Stampin for the weekend - anything goes challenge
