My Nieces Second Birthday Card

This is a card that I have just made for my Niece's 2nd birthday. It was made using co-ordinating basic grey paper, rub ons and stickers. As I have two little boys i love the chance to make a girly card and thought the princess rub on was perfect to use.

I'd like to enter this card into the 4th challenge at Lexis Creations http://lexiscreations.blogspot.com/2009/12/wow-were-on-our-4th-challenge.html

Christening Card

I'm off to a Christening at the end of the month so here's the Christening card I made to mark the occassion. It made a nice change to making Christmas cards.

The teddy stamp is from the Daisy and Dandelion collection which I coloured in using Promarkers. I didn't have a Christening greeting so I made one from rub on letters. I also used some card candy from Craftwork cards and some paper and ribbon from my stash as well as a really cute teddy charm.

All done....my last card

And this is my last card....I used the same Tilly image (Digital doodling) but coloured in using blue and liliac Promarkers. The papers are from the doodlebug collection and Christmas message from Craftwork cards.

So that's it done from this year's Christmas cards. Still got to make a Christening card for a christening I'm going to at the end of this month and some ATCs, so still some more crafting to be done before the year is out. Tomorrow night though I must tidy up all my Christmas stash.....it's in a bit of a mess......

My Second to Last Christmas Card of 2009

Nearly done!!! This was my second to last card made for this Christmas.

I've used another fab Tilly image from Digital Doodling in traditional Christmas red and green colours. The image was coloured in using Promarkers and the cream scalloped rectangle and ribbon was from craftwork cards. The rest of the items are from my craft stash that I can no longer remember where I bought them from.

I have entered this card into challange 30 on the C.R.A.F.T challenge website. http://trimmiescraftchallenge.blogspot.com/

My Mum's Xmas Box

Here's a box that I made for my Mum for Christmas. I've bought her some crafting goodies for Christmas and thought it would be a lovely idea to decorate a box for them all to go in.

The box is from Hobbycraft and is decorated mostly using papers and stickers from basicgrey with a few other embellishments added, including the fabric flowers, some ribbon and card candy (craftwork cards). Also a fellow Trimmie came up with a lovely poem for the box which I've used on the lid.

My Kids Entry for Little Hands Do Crafts

Three keen crafting kids have just set up their own blog with challenges for other kids.
It's such a fab idea to get kids involved I couldn't resist entering the calenders my two boys made today into the first challenge.
They're only little but love doing painting and drawing.

Made by my 2 year old, Owen. He got into a right mess using lots of dabber paints, glitter and used some stamps for the first time. He had such fun making this though and it'll make a great present for one of the Grandparents.

Owens big brother, Liam (3) also joined in our crafting session. I drew an outline of a Christmas tree then he coloured it in using dabber paints and again lots of gold and green glitter and he used a star and present stamp. He also got covered in paint and glitter as well as the table, floor, light switch and me! It all got cleaned up though and this calender will go to the other set of Grandparents.

Mrs Tilly Claus Card

This is my Entry to digital doodling challenge number 2.
It's based on a layout from the current Friday Sketchers layout and using the gorgeous Mrs Tilly Claus digital image from digital doodling.
Background paper and Christmas greeting - Craftwork Cards
Tilly coloured in using promarkers
Flowers and snowflakes from 'my craft cupboard'
Decorated with lots of 'stickles' star dust glitter

This years christmas card for my OH.

Here's this years christmas card for my husband. He loves traditional christmas colours and I thought the digital image from craftmadfairy would be perfect for his card.

Digi Image - craftmadfairy - coloured with promarker and glittler on the wings

Flower - made using punches

Christmas kisses message - craftwork cards

Other message (to a hunky hubby!) and paper where presents so not sure where they were from.

I also used from red and green cardstock, silver gems and hearts.

I would like to enter this into some challenges:

Not only this but I also got some of Hope Jancares digital doodles. What a lovely prize. Off to go make some cards now, I hurt my back and then had to do some extra work last night so not been able to do any crafting for a few days, but I can get stuck back into christmas cards in the evenings again.

Christmas cards in non-traditional colours

Here are the results of last nights crafting. I made them for a challenge over on the Trimcraft website, we had to use non-traditional colours and at least 1 star. It was so hard not to use silver on these cards, as I seam to use a bit of silver glitter on most of my christmas cards! Was pleased with how they turned out.
The lovely image used is Mrs Tilly Claus from Wendy's digital doodling which I coloured in using my new promarkers.

The Kids Christmas Cards

I thought I'd show you my kids crafting skills!!
With help from Mummy and Daddy on Sunday they made all their Christmas cards. Here's one of them. It got very messy but we all had a great time getting the paints out. They enjoyed it so much they wanted to carry on so they painted pictures to send to Santa. I wonder if they will still want to make cards in 20 years time???????
